Organic Cotton Leggings, Bras & Tops: Your Questions Answered

Your favourite organic cotton leggings are only the beginning. Find the fit you love, the cotton feel you’re looking for and the tops that bring it all together. From a quiet morning stretch to the rest of your day, here’s how to choose your Orbasics favourites.

01 / Find your leggings

Leggings you’ll reach for, on and off the mat

Classic colours, a little leopard or a softer flare. Start with the shape that feels like you.

Which Orbasics leggings should I choose?

Start with the silhouette you enjoy wearing. Our All Day Leggings have a high waist and a close-fitting leg in solid colours. The Leo Leggings bring a leopard print to that everyday feel. Prefer a little more room at the hem? Our Cotton Flared Leggings fit closely through the upper leg and flare from the knee. All three combine 95% organic cotton with 5% elastane.

What’s the difference between All Day Leggings and Flared Leggings?

The classic All Day Leggings stay close to the leg and have a wide elastic waistband. The Flared Leggings open out from the knee and have a soft, high waistband with narrow elastic inside. Choose the classic shape if you like a fitted ankle; choose the flare if you prefer a wider hem. Both styles offer the soft cotton feel and stretch of a 95% organic cotton, 5% elastane blend.

Do you have organic cotton leggings in leopard and other prints?

Yes. Our leggings collection includes leopard, cheetah and other animal prints alongside solid colours. Choose a print you love, then check the individual style’s measurements and fit notes. The collection page shows the current choice of colours and designs, including any styles available to pre-order.

Which leggings are suitable for yoga and Pilates?

Our organic cotton leggings are designed for yoga, Pilates and gentle everyday movement. The All Day shape keeps the fabric close around your lower legs, while the Flared Leggings give you a wider hem. Choose the cut you feel most comfortable moving in. For a coordinated outfit, add a Move Bra Top or one of our organic cotton tanks.

02 / Fit & movement

Find your fit. Settle into your flow.

A waistband that feels comfortable, a length that works for you and room to move your way.

Which size should I choose for Orbasics leggings?

The solid-colour All Day Leggings, Jungle Camel Leo Leggings and Deep Black Flared Leggings fit true to size. Start with your usual size and compare the measurements on the product page with a pair you already enjoy wearing. The fabric should sit close without feeling overstretched. Check the fit notes for the exact style you choose, as advice for tops and bras can be different.

How do I choose the right leggings length?

Compare the length measurements for your chosen style with leggings or trousers that already fit you well. This is especially useful for flared leggings, where the hem length changes how the shape sits over your shoes. A model’s height is a helpful reference, but your own proportions matter too. If you need a measurement that isn’t listed, ask us about the style and size before ordering.

Are Orbasics leggings squat-proof?

Yes. Our organic cotton leggings are opaque and squat-proof, so you can bend, stretch and move through yoga or Pilates with confidence. Choose your size using the measurements on the product page for a comfortable fit.

How should high-waisted leggings feel around the waist?

The waistband should feel comfortably close when you stand, sit and bend. Our classic All Day Leggings have a wide elastic waistband; the Flared Leggings use narrow elastic inside a soft, high waistband. If a waistband digs in, rolls over or repeatedly slips, check the size and fit. The right choice is the one that feels comfortable through your own movements.

Can I wear organic cotton leggings for intense workouts?

Our leggings are made for everyday wear and low- to moderate-intensity movement, including yoga, Pilates and walking. For workouts where fast drying, technical moisture management or strong compression are priorities, choose clothing specifically designed for those needs. Think about how you like to move and which fabric feel you enjoy most.

Do Orbasics leggings provide strong compression?

Our organic cotton leggings offer a close, flexible fit with a soft cotton feel. They are a good match if you enjoy gentle stretch and everyday comfort. If you want a very firm, compressive feel for training, look for a style specifically designed and described as a compression garment.

03 / Bras, tops & layers

Build an outfit that feels like you

Add a little support, a favourite print or a cosy layer. Your leggings set the starting point.

Which tops go well with leggings for yoga and everyday movement?

For a cropped top with integrated support, explore the Move Bra Top. Prefer a separate tank? The Racerback Tank leaves your shoulders free to move, while the Cool Tank in Leo Print has a snug, sleeveless shape. Choose your bra separately according to the support you need when wearing a tank without a built-in bra.

What’s the difference between the Move-All-Day Bra and the Move Bra Top?

The black Move-All-Day Bra is a sports bra with a wide underband and racerback, offering medium support. The Move Bra Top combines a cropped tank and an integrated wireless bra, with light-to-medium support. Choose the bra if you enjoy wearing a separate top or layer; choose the Bra Top if you like the two-in-one design. Support also depends on your bust size and fit.

Do your sports bras have underwires or padding?

The Move-All-Day Bra in Black and Chocolate Jungle is wireless, double-layered and unpadded. The Move Bra Top has an integrated wireless bra. Check the details for your chosen style if padding or a particular level of support is important to you. For running and jumping, a bra designed for higher-impact activity may be a better match.

Should I choose the same size in every Orbasics top?

Use the fit notes for each style. The black Move-All-Day Bra and black Snug Longsleeve run small, so we recommend sizing up. The Move Bra Top, Cool Tank and Stoneblue Racerback Tank fit true to size; their product pages recommend sizing up if you are between sizes or prefer more room. Compare the measurements for the exact colour and style, especially when choosing a bra or fitted top.

How can I style my leggings beyond the studio?

Keep it easy with the relaxed Easy Tee, add a fitted Snug Longsleeve, or pull on the roomy Boxy Sweater after class. Solid leggings leave room for a printed top; leopard leggings work beautifully with a simple tee. Choose the layers that make your outfit feel like your own.

Can I mix sizes, colours and prints to create an outfit?

Yes. Leggings and tops are sold as individual pieces, so you can choose the size that suits you in each. Pair a print with a solid colour, or build a coordinated look, such as All Day Leggings in Steelblue with the Steelblue Move Bra Top. Check each product’s availability and delivery notes, as some colours or styles may be on pre-order.

04 / Fabric & making

Know what touches your skin

Softness starts with the fabric. Here’s what goes into your Orbasics pieces.

Are all Orbasics clothes made from 100% organic cotton?

The fabric depends on the piece. Our leggings, Move-All-Day Bras and Move Bra Tops combine 95% organic cotton with 5% elastane for stretch. The Easy Tee and Chocolate Boxy Sweater are made from 100% organic cotton. Check the composition on each product page when choosing your favourites. Pieces containing elastane are not 100% cotton or plastic-free.

What does GOTS certification mean for Orbasics clothing?

GOTS stands for the Global Organic Textile Standard. It covers requirements for organic fibres and textile processing, including environmental and social criteria. Our organic cotton collections are described as GOTS-certified finished products. You can find the material and certification information for your chosen piece on its product page.

What does Orbasics mean by low-tox clothing?

We use “low tox” to describe our focus on clearly stated materials, textile standards and production information. Start with the exact fibre composition and the certification details for the piece you are considering. The term does not mean that a garment can be guaranteed free from every possible trace substance, or that it will suit every skin sensitivity.

Where are Orbasics leggings, bras and tops made?

The Orbasics pieces featured in this guide are made in Portugal. Our collections are designed in Germany, with material and production details listed on the individual product pages. Whether you choose leggings, a bra top or an everyday layer, those details help you get to know the piece before it becomes part of your wardrobe.

05 / Care & ordering

A little care for the pieces you love

A few simple habits, and a quick check before you order.

How should I care for my organic cotton leggings and tops?

Wash the leggings, bras and stretch-cotton tops featured here at 30°C with similar colours. Avoid fabric softener, bleach and tumble drying, and let them air dry. Always follow the care label for your individual piece, including tees and sweaters. The Chocolate Boxy Sweater also has specific notes about its brushed interior and possible shrinkage on its product page.

What should I check before placing a pre-order?

Choose your size and colour, then read the delivery information on that product page. A pre-order means you pay now for an item expected to arrive later. Check the estimated delivery date and whether other items in the same order will be sent together at the latest delivery date. This is especially useful when putting together an outfit from several pieces.
