About Orbasics 

Orbasics was founded with the desire to create healthier and more sustainable alternatives for everyday life.

What started as a small collection of sustainable kids’ clothing has grown into an online shop for organic clothing and carefully selected non-toxic products – complemented by a blog with in-depth articles and practical tips for a more conscious, healthier life.

With your work in SEO you’ll help us make all of this even more visible online.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create SEO-relevant content and copy for our own channels (blog, shop, newsletter), as well as for partner websites and guest posts

  • Carry out editorial SEO tasks (e.g. structuring texts, headlines, snippets, internal linking)

  • Support the planning and implementation of editorial content calendars (DE & EN)

  • Assist with keyword analysis and research (topic discovery, keyword lists, clustering)

  • Maintain, create and revise content based on SEO guidelines and briefs

  • Optimise website content, e.g. by updating meta data, internal links or adjusting URL slugs

  • Conceptualise and write guest articles, including coordination with partners/collaborations and support in building backlinks

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are an enrolled student (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Journalism, German Studies, English Studies, Media, Sustainability or similar).

  • You have at least basic understanding of SEO principles and are interested in current developments – especially in the field of AI-powered technologies.

  • You have proven experience in writing, for example:  blog articles, online or magazine articles, your own projects (blog, newsletter, website, LinkedIn, Medium, etc.

    • You write very good, fluent German and very good English and feel confident producing longer texts in both languages.

    • Ideally, you have first experience with SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs or similar) and can interpret simple evaluations.

    • You already use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, writing or research tools) or are highly motivated to learn how – without losing your own voice and writing style.

    • You can create engaging, search-engine-friendly content and communicate clearly and respectfully.

    • You’re well organised, work autonomously and can prioritise and manage different workstreams and inputs.
